Vine Focuses on Web Experience in New Update
vine-logoIncreased web experiences are at the forefront in the newest updates for Twitter-owned, Vine. Up until now, the video sharing service lacked some key web experience and interactivity features that caused some grumblings within the community. Updates include the ability to view your home feed and like, commends, and share videos as you would on the mobile verison.

Another new update, sure to satisfy long time users, is the ability to click on a username to a profile and browse all the views that user created since joining Vine. The last update to Vine on the web is TV Mode. Basically, TV Mode allows you to view a collection of videos in sequence and in full screen. It is activated when you click on the TV icon located on the upper right hand corner of the program.

I’m not totally convinced on the usability of TV Mode but according to Vine, “this release is just a first step toward bringing you a richer, more enjoyable web experience. We look forward to introducing more improvements in 2014.”
